Wendy has been working in the mental health field for over 11 years, and she has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 6 years in a variety of settings. She has a Master of Education with an emphasis in agency counseling, and she is licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Missouri. Wendy has practiced vocational counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, substance abuse counseling, individual adults and children, and Intensive Outpatient Program groups for adolescents using DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) tools and mindfulness.
She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT, and she is trained and certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. Wendy specializes in trauma, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and emotion regulation difficulties, and she is experienced working with military veterans.

Wendy offers individual sessions with ages 6 and up, and family sessions for $125/hour. She is also in network with United/Optum Health Insurance and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
